Client reports drafted in your structure, approved by you

AI document generation turns client data into the written deliverables you would otherwise write from scratch: reports, executive summaries, action plans, session briefs. Each document is drafted automatically in your structure and your branding, then passes through an edit and approve step before anything reaches a client. ManiWebDev builds these pipelines custom, which means the output follows your format rather than reading like generic AI writing.

The blank page tax

If you deliver written work to clients, you know the real cost is not the thinking. It is transcribing the thinking into a document, formatting it, and doing that again for every client, forever.

It is also the least differentiated part of what you do. Nobody hires you for your typing. They hire you for the judgment that goes into the document.

The reason most practitioners have not automated this is a fair one: generic AI writing does not sound like them, and sending something they did not review is a credibility risk they will not take. Both of those are solvable.

What’s included

Documents built on your structure

The pipeline is built around your existing report format, section by section, rather than asking an AI to invent one.

Generate, edit, approve

Every document is a draft until you approve it. You can edit before approving, and nothing sends without that step.

Multiple deliverable types from one data set

The same client information can produce a full report, a short executive summary, and a client-facing action plan, each in its own format.

Branded PDF output

Typography, colours, logo, and layout consistent with everything else you send, including charts rendered to print quality.

Your voice, not the model's

Prompts are built from your existing documents so the output reads like your practice rather than like a chatbot.

Version history

What was generated, what you changed, and what was finally sent, all retained.

How the build works

  1. 01

We start from your best existing document

A report you are proud of is the specification. Structure, tone and depth are extracted from real work rather than guessed.

  2. 02

We define what the AI must never do

Claims it cannot make, conclusions it cannot draw, and language it cannot use. This list matters more than the capability list.

  3. 03

We build the generation and approval flow

Including the editing interface, because you will edit and that should not mean copying text into Word.

  4. 04

We benchmark against documents you wrote

If the drafts need less editing than writing from scratch, it works. If not, the prompts get rebuilt.

Technical decisions that matter

The right model for each document

Short summaries and long analytical reports have different requirements. Matching model to task controls both quality and cost.

Server-side generation

Documents are generated on your backend, so API keys stay private and costs are visible and controllable in one place.

PDF rendering that holds up

Dynamic page breaks, tables that do not split badly, and charts drawn in vector. Report PDFs fail in specific, predictable ways and these are handled at build time.

Common questions

What is AI document generation for a consulting practice?

It is a system that takes structured client data, such as assessment responses or intake information, and drafts the written deliverables you would normally write by hand. Each draft follows your own report structure and branding, and you review and approve before anything is sent.

Will the reports sound like generic AI writing?

Not if the pipeline is built from your own documents. The difference between AI output that reads like a chatbot and output that reads like your practice is almost entirely in how carefully the prompts were built from real examples of your work.

Does anything get sent to clients without me reading it?

No. The generate, edit, approve flow makes you the final checkpoint by design. For a practice where credibility is the product, an unreviewed automated send is not worth the time it saves.

Can I still edit the generated documents?

Yes, inside the system. You edit and approve in one place rather than exporting to Word and losing the connection to the client record.

What kinds of documents can be generated?

Anything with a repeatable structure driven by client data: diagnostic reports, executive summaries, action plans, session briefs, progress reviews. Documents requiring genuine case-by-case judgment are a poor fit, and should stay manual.

Is my client data used to train AI models?

No. Documents are generated through provider APIs configured so client data is not used for training, and the data itself lives in a database you control.

See this in practice

Is this the system your practice needs?

Tell me how you run this part of your business today and I’ll tell you honestly whether it is worth building, and what it would take.
